New Colors: Look for Ken Butler III in the Aaron’s Outdoors Mossy Oak camouflage colors this weekend. This will be the second time Butler sports the camo colors in NASCAR Nationwide competition. He was last seen in the camouflage paint scheme at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in October.
Phoenix History: Ken Butler III will make his second start at Phoenix International Raceway this weekend. His first start came earlier this season when he had electrical issues during qualifying that forced him to a 40th-place starting position. Butler was able to stay out of trouble and climb his way to a 28th-place finish at the one-mile oval.
New Crew Chief: Bulter will have a new crew chief this weekend. Jeff Kirkendall will be calling the shots on the Aaron’s Dream Machine at Phoenix International Raceway. Kirkendall joined R3 Motorsports at Texas Motor Speedway last weekend and will continue to lead the No. 23 Chevy through the remainder of the season.
Signing For a Cause: Ken Bulter III and several of his fellow Nationwide Series drivers will be signing autographs on Saturday, November 14th from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. in Gatorade Victory Lane at Phoenix International Raceway. Fans are asked to donate a non-perishable food item or make a $5 donation to participate in the autograph session. All proceeds and donations will benefit the West Davidson Food Pantry in Davidson, N.C.

This week’s Chevy: Kirkendall and the No. 23 team are bringing chassis No. 42 to Texas Motor Speedway this weekend. This chassis was last used at Dover International Raceway when Butler drove to a solid 23rd-place finish.
Ken Butler: “This will be my second time here so we hope to improve on the run we had in the spring. There will be a lot of great talent on the track Saturday. I just want to stay with those guys and run a good, clean race. If we run our race, stay out of trouble and keep digging every lap we should be able to come out of Phoenix with a solid finish.”
Crew Chief Jeff Kirkendall: “This will be my first time working with Ken Butler III and I am ecstatic to be working with him and everyone on the Aaron’s Dream machine. Phoenix is a tough track. It will be important to have a good qualifying effort and establish good track position so we stay out of trouble. We are really excited to have the Aaron’s Outdoors colors on the car this weekend and I think we will come home with a solid finish.”
